About Rakoczy Photography
Commercial Photography
Formed in 2003, Rakoczy Photography has been providing commercial and governmental clients with high-quality commercial photography since its start. I specialize in conceptual photo-illustrations, high-tech product imagery, architecture and panoramic photography. State-of-the-art digital equipment, software and techniques enable me to create refined images that communicate product, process and place.
I am available for assignment work, and I offer stock images through PhotoShelter.
Landscape & Nature Photography
I have been holding a camera in one form or another for as long as I can remember. While my earliest efforts were just for play, I still shoot because it is fun. I seek out the natural beauty this country has to offer, from the grand vistas to the local details too often unnoticed.
Today I shoot primarily with professional 35mm format digital SLRs, though I also enjoy cranking a little film through medium format cameras now and then. Either way, my intention is always to put onto paper the feel, the emotion, and the sense of place that I felt when I aimed my camera and pressed the shutter. I try to focus on the abundant beauty of the natural world, from Acadia to Yosemite to my own back yard.
